Taking out the 1992 Toyota Pickup for it's 20th birthday on some dirt roads at Angela's Crest in Los Angeles. The truck is totally stock.. a 22re motor, 2wd and a sweet 5 speed transmission.
This made me go into my garage. Flick the lights on and go 😌😈

I'm looking at setting up my DR like yours. What carb are you running, and did you do the airbox mod? ps: pleeeeasseee make more cinematic DR vids. Thanks! :D
Used a JD jet kit, stock carb. K and N filter with the airbox mod too. It will def run super lean if your running the air box mod with full exhaust, it requires running the biggest jet in the kit. Someday I'll make some more films for you all. Take care!

Fantastic, all the angles give you a feeling of not only what its like to ride but what it looks like from a birds eye view and the total perspective, including audio of the bike, its so immersive and beautifully shot. love coming back to watch it every now and then. Everyone whos driven bikes knows and this video gives them that feeling. Magnificent.

How tall are you if you dont mind me asking? I know the DR650 hasa lower seat hight right. I found it a bit small for me at 5'10. I like the bike but then I think i would have to make changes like the pegs, risers etc
5'8. I'm running 1" risers and pro taper counter bars so it's probably 1.5" higher than stock. The pegs should be an easy mod. Either way, the bike is a blank canvas to fit your personal needs. Good luck.

Love this vid! Amazing cinematography and sound-Best riding vid of anything I’ve seen on here! Keeping the DR as the main character reminds me of a cross between Easy Rider (meets dirt) and Singlefin:Yellow. Really let’s me feel the open spaces! 👍
